Having recently done the Collado circuit, we found the Cavallo Verde circuit shortened version on the website. Although graded at the same level of difficulty,we found the shortened Cavallo Verde considerably more difficult. In retrospect, I’m glad we did it, but people should be aware that there is some scrambling along the ridge, and it was quite easy (as we found) to take the wrong path along the ridge along a section which was quite scary to those of us who suffer from vertigo! But the views from the ridge were magnificent.
