However, the conditions may be very different from what you&#8217;re used to, so it&#8217;s worth checking out our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.walksinspain.org\/wordpress\/guidance\/\">Guidance<\/a> page.<\/p>\n<p>Use the &#8220;Walks&#8221; menu above to navigate to a map and list of walks or click on the area on one of the maps below to see how many walks there are in that area and then click on the link in the pop-up to go to walks for that area.\u00a0 There are additional features to help you find the best walk for your day in the mountains including sorting by any of the measured criteria.\u00a0 More details on each of the area walks pages.<\/p>\n<p>The site was created in 2012 to mark the 25th anniversary of the CBMW and enjoyed the help and support of Iain Robertson who created the first edition, Robbie Jackson who is responsible for the current system that is used and Ralph Phipps who manages the day to day content.<\/p>\n<p>All maps included in the Walk Descriptions are courtesy of the Spanish IGN and remain \u00ab\u00a9 Instituto Geogr\u00e1fico Nacional\u00bb<\/p>\n<pre>OSM and OCM maps are \u00a9 OpenStreetMap Contributors.
