Albarracin – Pinares de Rodeno – Pinturas Rupestres
Beautiful walk, very varied with good trails, constantly spectacular rock formations and an abundance of prehistoric rock paintings.
The rock formations are very popular for bouldering, a discipline of rock climbing where you do not use ropes for security but puts mats under the rocks to break the fall. Don’t be surprised if you see climbers walking around with something that looks like a giant backpack, these are the folded mats.
The rock paintings are, as usual, tricky to find but with the necessary perseverance you can spot a figure here and there.
In general, a great walk in beautiful surroundings.
