Fontilles cemetery circuit
A delightful pre-lunch walk through easy paths, lanes and roads on the slopes of the Caballo Verde looking across the valley and out to sea.

From Orba following the town ring road follow signs to the CV718 towards Campell, Fleix and Benimaurell. Follow this road until just after the junction to Fleix. The cemetery is on the L just past the junction. |

We did this on the 13.04.2022. Good instructions and gps file. Slight landslip after the 42 min “Y/W footpath going up a steep bank on the RHS”. Also road is closed to vehicle traffic after Font del Penyo to the road coming in from the LHS, due to a landslip, it is passable on foot. Good picnic tables at Font del Penyo.
Good walk – done on 22-09-25. Quite a bit of road walking but very quiet – only saw 1 vehicle, apart from on the main road.
Only comment I would make is that the Y/W cross at around 1.7km(“be sure to pick out the R turn at a junction where a footpath continues ahead with a Y/W cross”) is very faded but the right turn you make is on to a very clear path.
