Mariola, Snow Wells & Penya del Rellotge Circuit

n attractive circuit, passing through pleasant woodland and along high open rolling hillside, capped by a rocky ridge path. Extensive views unfold with many points of interest. The descent maintains that interest. Mostly on good marked paths, though some are steep, rough and stoney in places, including on the descent. There are also a few short unmarked sections to take in the easily accessed summits.

Directions to start	From Muro d’Alcoi take the CV-700 towards Alfafara. Pass the first junction signed into Agres, in 600m turn left at crossroads into C’ Finca Rocio. As you reach the town follow signs leading right to ‘Convent and Area Recreative’, turn up left passing ‘la Torreta’ to the car park on right below the Refugio.

Recommendations or Restrictions	There are many path options and some of the rough sections could be avoided, but it would be a shame.
