Mijhorn summit & Bco de la Cueva dels Corrales.

A one way route (involving car shuttle) to the summit of Mijhorn (1226m), the cliffs of the Collado de Clot and a descent down the steep gorge of the Barranco des las Corales.

The grade of this walk is S/B/Scr, which means
S – Strenuous: More than 600 metres ascent and/or more than 15km in length with steep, loose or heavily vegetated sections.
B – Less than half the route on rough ground.
Scr – Scrambling: This implies the need for handholds to ascend steep rock pitches with a sense of exposure to vertigo and where a slip could lead to a serious accident.

Nearest town	Xixona
Directions to start	From Alicante, pass Xixona on CV800 to roundabout to La Torre de las Macanes (CV- 780). Stay on CV 800 for 600m and turn left (route km 18.7 approx) where there are recycling bins. Ignore “No Entry” sign. After 200 m road turns sharply right. After another 800m downhill just before road turns very sharply left leave at least one car on unsurfaced road to the right. Continue driving for 250m and pass by road junction to the right. After another 700m turn left at tee junction and follow road around steep bend to right. After another 500m pass by junction to right. After another 160m turn right up narrow asphalted road marked with yellow/white footpath signs. Drive uphill for 500m and park where asphalt ends (not blocking driveway to house).

Recommendations or Restrictions	Do not do this walk if heavy rains are possible. Walk should not be done alone and and least 2 people with cars are needed for car shuttle. Do not do this wal in very windy conditions as approach to the summit is exposed and difficult.
