Landing strip circuit from Alcala
A circular walk all on wide forestry tracks and clearly defined paths. Ideal for a pre-lunch appetiser. You’ll visit a landing strip used for refuelling aircraft when involved in fire fighting, two well preserved neveras (icehouses) an ancient wine pressing “thing”, a spot where a treaty was signed between the Moors and Christians in 1245 and an ancient aqueduct which you’ll have the pleasure on walking over (don’t worry it’s only small) AND ALL THIS BEFORE LUNCH !!
