Maigmo Circuit & Via Verde
An anticlockwise tour of Maigmo involving well defined trails. A stiff climb near the start is quite broken underfoot, but the remainder of the walk is over good terrain. The final 3km is on the Via Verde de Maigmo and passes through old railway tunnels for which a torch is advisable.

This was a cracker and the description was spot on. Definite heart workout on the initial climb but after that a nice easy walk with some sensational views. Good to get to the South of Alicante province and see the change in environment too. Best of all, didn’t see a soul 🙂
