Planises circuit from Maserof
A delightful round of the hills leading up to the Bernia with excellent views all around and down to the coast. Difficult later stage down a rocky slope and up a barranco with uphill finish back to the car.

Today we planend to do this Walk with our Garmin but unfortunately it did not work. Just when trying to find the track with the description, we met the group of Costa Blanca Mountain walkers. We were welcome to join the group and had a magnificent guidance. Many thanks for the hostpitality. And we are glad that we were able to pay our contribution for this year. Although we always walk on our own, we benefit a lot of all the work you do with this super site. And this walk is a very nice walk, a bit longer but technically not difficult. Beautiful views and a lot of variety in the landscape.
Thanks CBW and keep on walking.

Thanks for your comments.
Walkers intending to do this route should note that a landowner has blocked the path near the start and at present there is no alternative route. Best to avoid it or start on a track at about 6.8km on the road from Jalon (using a map!). We hope to come up with an alternative approach soon…………
The obstruction above has been bypassed and the route is quite clear, although the existing gps will be incorrect for several hundred meters.
There is now and ADDITIONAL OBSTRUCTION at the end of the route beyond the walled cave/corral and as yet there is no established route around this – take care.
I really lost my way on the Planisses but I saw Masserof from love , so I found my own unpleasant way to go to this spot-

Ooh, what a shame. Hope you managed the rest of the walk OK.
