Directions to start |
From Benissa, take the N332, Valencia direction, and turn right on to the motorway approach road. By the “Tome su tiquet” sign, take the small road on the right sign-posted “cimenterio”. Follow signs to the cimenterio until you come to the yellow “cimenterio municipal” sign. Do not turn right here but continue along the Cami de Valencia (part of it unsurfaced) until you come to the tunnels under the motorway and park there. |

An excellent walk, particularly on the approach to the first summit, with well-defined and well-surfaced paths, at least to the summit of Serellas. The route description for the final third is slightly ambiguous in places, particularly after the ruined finca following the White pony’ house. The pony was present in August 2019, looking healthy! The illustrated map is unhelpfully cluttered with overlapping yellow labels at exactly the point where you need to be able to see the map contours. Well worth the effort, so thank you route planners.
Thanks for the comment. Glad you enjoyed the walk. I’ve removed the waymarks from the map to make it clearer.
